Will a mural damage the wall?

Indoors she uses an odourless acrylic: a child’s bedroom in use or a restaurant that stays open can both be painted. An acrylic mural can later be painted over like any wall paint, if you change your mind in ten years.

In the Castello di San Giorgio, Andrea Mantegna painted the Camera degli Sposi between 1465 and 1474, a nearly cubic room a little over eight metres on each side. He opens two walls and the ceiling illusionistically: at the centre of the vault an oculus gives onto the sky, with a balustrade over which figures and putti lean in extremely bold foreshortening. It is held to be the most complex perspective construction of the Italian Quattrocento, and it remains the most famous example of a room painted to enlarge its own space.
