How the work goes, in practice
The terms are simple and the same for everyone: two free sketches, adjusted with you, a small deposit for materials.
Two free sketches
The first two sketches are always free, for murals as for canvases and drawings on paper. If a sketch is set aside and redone from scratch, a new commission begins.
Your feedback, and she adjusts
Giulia is precise from the start about what she will paint. During the work she shows the wall to the client, so corrections happen together as it progresses. At the end she makes the small finishing touches until the painting looks the way it was imagined.
Deposit and balance
A deposit of around 100 € covers materials and paint. The balance is settled when the work is finished, together. Travel costs and practical planning are discussed together, according to the place and the date.
If the commission is cancelled
In case of cancellation, the client covers the materials, the sketch and the time already set aside.
Timing
The quote arrives within 48h. If there is a delay, Giulia lets you know well in advance.

How do I commission a mural?
Write to Giulia Dal Bon on WhatsApp or by email with a photo of the wall, its approximate dimensions, the town and your idea, even a vague one: she replies within 48 hours with a free quote. She then draws a sketch straight onto the photo of your wall, you tell her what you think, and the first two sketches are free. Once the sketch is approved, you set the date with her and she comes to paint on site, by brush.
Can I see the mural before it is painted?
Yes. Giulia draws the sketch on a tablet, straight onto the photo of your wall: you see the mural in place, at its real size, before the first brushstroke. The first two sketches are free, and she adjusts the design with you throughout the work. A sketch set aside and redone from scratch becomes a new commission.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit of about 100 € for materials and paints confirms the date, and the balance is settled at the end, together. For a mural far away, Giulia sometimes asks for an advance on travel. If the commission is cancelled, the materials, the sketch and the reserved time remain due, out of respect for the work done.
Can the design still be adjusted?
Yes. Giulia shows the work in progress so you can correct together as it goes, rather than at the end, then makes the small final touches until the result matches what you had in mind. She adjusts the design with you, and the price stays the same; only a sketch set aside and redone from scratch becomes a new commission.
Does Giulia travel everywhere?
Yes. She paints in seventeen European countries, in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Monaco, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Croatia and the United Kingdom, in big cities and small villages alike. Travel costs and organisation are agreed together in the quote.
How long should I allow?
The duration depends on the wall and the subject: it is decided with you and written in the quote. The quote itself arrives within 48 hours, and the date is set together once the sketch is approved. During the work the place stays open: indoors, Giulia paints with odourless acrylics.
