A photo and rough measurements are enough. Tell me the city, the type of space, and whether the wall is indoors or outdoors.
I send you a digital sketch over the photo of your wall, with a detailed quote. Free of charge.
From €150 per m² for a simple motif, more for very detailed work. We set the date together.
The questions that come up most often.
Yes. Before any agreement, Giulia shows you the project as an image on your own wall, with the detailed price. Several sketches are proposed to you before the project is confirmed.
In apartments in the Barrio de Salamanca or boutiques on the Milla de Oro, a refined botanical motif or an elegant trompe l'oeil fit well with the district's stately architecture. Everything is hand-painted with acrylic colours, no wallpaper or printing involved.
No damage at all. Acrylic paint adheres to an already painted or plastered wall, with no stripping or heavy primer needed. And if you change your mind in ten years, a coat of paint is enough to cover it.
Here, a mural works when it plays off the stately elegance of the district's architecture.
Living rooms, bedrooms, entrances in period apartments in the Barrio de Salamanca, with their high ceilings. Example: a 10 m² living room wall in a detailed subject, around €2,500.
Luxury hotels and boutiques on the Milla de Oro, along Calle Serrano and Calle Velázquez. Example: a 15 m² boutique wall in a detailed subject, around €3,750.
An exterior wall visible from the street generally needs the owner's or building association's agreement. From €150 per m², plus scaffolding if needed.
The Barrio de Salamanca was laid out in the 19th century under the Marquis of Salamanca, José de Salamanca y Mayol, as an elegant expansion district for the city, with an orderly grid of streets and stately buildings. It is today home to the Milla de Oro, the stretch of Calle Serrano and Calle Velázquez where the city's luxury boutiques cluster, close to the Paseo del Arte, the axis linking the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofía museums. The district is also home to the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, a historic mansion housing an important private art collection. Requests come from period apartments, hotels and boutiques looking for a distinctive feature. Giulia travels easily to paint: she comes to see the wall in person, or works first from photos and measurements.

What makes the quote vary: the surface to paint, the complexity of the subject, indoor or outdoor, the condition of the wall before preparation, the height and whether scaffolding is needed, and the requested timeline.
To receive a quote, send a photo of the wall, the approximate dimensions and the idea you have in mind.

The rate is per square metre: €150 for a simple motif, €250 for a detailed subject, €350 for a trompe l'oeil or ceiling. The quote is free.
The timeline depends on the project: we discuss it together based on the wall and the subject. As a general guide, a simple motif takes less time than a very detailed subject or a large surface.
Yes, with surface preparation suited to the Madrid climate. The best period for an exterior mural runs from spring to autumn.
For an interior wall, no. For a facade visible from the street, you generally need the owner's or building association's agreement, and a notice to the municipality if the building sits in a protected zone: many buildings in the Barrio de Salamanca are protected. Giulia explains the process before starting.
Yes. A mural painted in acrylic can be painted over like any regular wall paint. It can also be reworked or extended later on.
