What kind of mural works well in Corsica ?

Bastia was founded by the Genoese in 1381, and the island kept from those Genoese centuries a taste for painted decoration: in the nineteenth century Corsican houses still had painted ceilings and trompe-l'oeil made for them, and the cathedral of Santa Maria in Bastia holds several, in baroque style.
