The date and the place
Tell me the date, the city, the venue and the number of guests. I will tell you straight away what I can do.
The quote
I send the quote within 48h, itemised line by line, invoiced to the agency or the end client.
On the day
I paint in front of your guests, and the signed canvas goes home with you that same evening.
What you can offer your client
The canvas of the evening. Giulia paints the venue, the brand or the theme of the event, live in front of the guests, and the signed canvas stays with the client at the end. It is the format companies choose most readily: an object remains, hanging at head office. From 900 €.
The canvas the guests sign. Giulia paints the large canvas during the evening and every guest comes to write on it: a painted guest book, dated, that hangs on the wall. A team version works just as well, each group adding its own part.
Watercolour portraits of the guests. Alone, as a couple or as a team: each person leaves with their own that same evening, and everyone can have a turn. From 1,200 €.
The piano and painting show. Orlando plays a neoclassical repertoire, Giulia paints to the music, and the canvas is revealed on the last note. It can be painted upside down and turned round in front of the audience, for a piece of theatre. Quote on request.
And before the event, Giulia also draws the poster for the evening by hand, or paints a mural in the client’s offices. The logo, the product or the winner’s name can go into the canvas.
What you need for the file

Technically she asks for very little: a square of about two metres by two, a power socket, and light on the canvas. She brings her easel, her canvases and her colours, sets up in about half an hour and leaves with her kit. The acrylic she uses is odourless, so she can paint in the room during dinner.
The length is decided with you: twenty minutes during a key moment, an hour through the drinks reception, or the whole evening. She speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish, which counts when guests come from several countries. For a very large canvas the finishing is sometimes completed in the studio, and the work then travels to the client.

How long does the performance last?

Can the client’s logo or product go into the canvas?
Yes, and it is what makes the canvas useful after the evening. Giulia can paint the logo, the product, the venue, the name of an award winner or the theme of the convention. She also studied graphic design at the Brera Academy: the lettering is drawn by hand and composed for the canvas.
Can the performance be filmed and photographed?
Yes, and it is one of the reasons for booking it: the canvas growing gives images throughout the evening. Photographers and film crews work freely around her. The images belong to your client; Giulia simply asks to be credited when they are published.

Who is the painter who works live?
Giulia Dal Bon, a painter trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She exhibits her paintings in art galleries, paints murals in seventeen countries and speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish. She has painted live hundreds of times, on stages, in theatres, at weddings and at company evenings, dozens of them with the piano and painting show she performs as a duo. Two of those dates are public: at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, for Play Green, and on 6 July 2017 at the Gaber Festival in Camaiore, alongside the guitarist Gianni Martini.
