Seminar, convention, end-of-year party, New Year reception, product launch, opening, gala, trade show, award ceremony, team building: wherever the company brings people together, Giulia sets up her easel and paints while the evening unfolds. The advancing canvas gives the room something in common. Guests pass by, take the time to look, photograph, come back to see how far she has got. And at the end, a work of art remains.
The subject is prepared with you: your logo and your colours worked into a composition, the venue of the event, a fresco of the evening with the guests, or the theme of your convention put into an image. Giulia first draws it as a sketch, complimentary, so that management knows exactly what will appear on the canvas. On the day, the surprise stays whole for the guests.
After the evening, the painting stays with the company. Hung in reception, in the meeting room or in the director’s office, it extends the event for years. It can also be given to a guest of honour or to a colleague who is leaving, or auctioned for a cause. Filmed during the evening, the canvas coming to life also makes content your teams are glad to share.
Your staff can take part in two ways. Giulia sketches the guests’ portraits in watercolour, on watercolour paper, alone or as a team, and each one leaves with their own. And if you wish, a collective canvas advances under her direction, where everyone adds a touch. Both combine with the main painting of the evening.
If you are after a theatrical effect, Giulia can paint the canvas upside down and turn it round only at the end: your guests follow her hand, and the subject appears all at once as the canvas is flipped. It is a moment the room photographs, and it is planned at the quote stage.
On site she needs a square of about two metres, visible to the guests and away from through-traffic, a power socket and light in the evening. She brings easel, canvases, acrylics and brushes, protects the floor and sets up before the guests arrive. Odourless acrylic lets her paint in a reception room in full swing.
Giulia is glad to work with agencies and in-house event teams: location scouting from photos of the venue, running order settled with production, formats and timings adapted to the programme. You have a single contact from the brief to the finished canvas, a reply within 48 hours at every step, and the invoice is made out to the company. She travels to sixteen European countries, and travel is priced in the quote.
Giulia travels to the convention centres, hotels, showrooms and company headquarters of Europe: the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, opened in 2000, forty-one thousand square metres of modular space that have hosted more than two thousand eight hundred international events, the Palais des Festivals in Cannes and Fiera Milano in Rho.
She also works in offices, shops and showrooms in Milan, Turin, Genoa, Nice, Monaco, Marseille, Geneva, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam and Luxembourg. From €900, free quote within 48 hours, with an invoice made out to the company.
Yes. The towns named on this site are simply the ones that have a page, and Giulia paints everywhere else just as gladly: a hamlet in Piedmont, a village in the Var, a farmhouse in Tuscany, an estate an hour from the nearest airport. Give the name of the place and the date: the answer comes within 48 hours, and travel is agreed together in the quote.
On stages, in theatres, at weddings and at company evenings: she has painted live hundreds of times, dozens of them with the piano and painting show she performs as a duo. Two of those dates are public: at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, for Play Green, she painted alongside the illustrator Francesco Barcella, on a reclaimed wooden panel supplied by the Di Nuovo craftsmen. And on 6 July 2017, in Camaiore, for the fourteenth Festival Gaber, she painted under the Arco di Via Vittorio Emanuele beside the guitarist Gianni Martini. Both evenings are documented by Lyra Teatro and by the press, and the links are on the Press page.
From 900 € for the canvas of the evening, painted in front of your guests, from 1 200 € for guest portraits through the evening, from 2 400 € for a large format or a full day, trade show or convention. Canvas, paints and equipment are included; travel is set out in the quote, sent within 48 hours, with invoicing to the company.
As soon as the date is set: November and December concentrate corporate parties and receptions, and Thursdays and Fridays go first. For a seminar or a launch during the year, a few weeks are usually enough. Write with the date: the answer and the quote leave within 48 hours.
Tell Giulia Dal Bon the date, the venue and the occasion, and she brings your idea to life with you. She offers you a free quote within 48 hours.
