What Giulia does at an event

Giulia sets up her easel facing the audience and paints while the event takes place. On a stage, she paints to the music and the painting is revealed at the end of the piece or the set. At a drinks reception, a trade show or an opening, the canvas advances among the guests: people take the time to look, admire, photograph, and come back to watch the painting change.

The subject is chosen with you: the venue, the audience, a figure linked to the event, a motif drawn from the brand’s world, or a free composition carried by the music. At a show, she lets what she hears lead her. At a brand event, the composition is prepared beforehand from your references and your palette, and you approve it on a sketch, complimentary.

An entertainment act fills an evening; a painting then lives on in the offices, in the lobby, or with the person who takes it home. At a commissioned performance, the work is included and you leave with it. At a show where the work stays free, the painting made during the performance is offered to the room that same evening. You tell Giulia what you prefer, and it is written in the quote. And while she paints, the scene produces images and videos that your teams are glad to use as content.

If you are after a theatrical effect, Giulia can paint the canvas upside down and turn it round only at the end: your guests follow her hand, and the subject appears all at once as the canvas is flipped. It is a moment the room photographs, and it is planned at the quote stage.

The events where Giulia performs

At a concert, she paints to the music, standing, in motion, from the start of the set to the end: on stage, as an opening act, or during a chosen piece. Twenty minutes during one song, an hour during the drinks or a whole evening: the length is decided with you.

At a company evening, seminar, end-of-year party, launch, opening, gala, private view or trade show, she paints during the drinks or at a highlight of the programme, and the work stays with the company. In a theatre, she paints on stage, in the light, in front of the audience, and the painting is part of the performance: that is the principle of her show with a pianist, where the canvas advances to music played live.

Outdoors, at a festival or a village fête, two things are enough: light if she paints in the evening, and shelter in case of rain. She paints in acrylic, which dries fast and handles the open air.
