Why do so many couples marry on Lake Geneva?

At the Château de Chillon, the lord’s chamber keeps the decoration commissioned from the painter Jean de Grandson by Count Aymon in 1336: he worked on it from 1341 to 1344 and covered the walls with a garden full of animals on a blue ground, in three registers, with the arms of Savoy. Restored in the early twentieth century and twice more since, it is the last interior scheme the House of Savoy left here.

A space of roughly two by two metres, away from the flow but visible to the guests, a power socket and light if she paints in the evening. Giulia brings her easel, canvases, acrylics and brushes. That is all the venue needs to know.
