What a company can give, painted by hand
A portrait from a photo. The person leaving, alone or with their team, painted from a photo you already have. On A4 paper at 90 €, on canvas 30×40 at 180 €, 40×50 at 240 €, 50×70 at 320 €. The size sets the price, and the size alone: one face or a whole team, the figure is the same.
The workplace, painted. The workshop, the factory, the office, the shop, the building seen from the street, the lorry, the machine someone spent thirty years on. It is the gift that lands hardest when a person leaves after a long career: they take the place with them.
A landscape that matters to them. Their house, their village, the coast they go back to, the mountain they look at at the weekend. Send a photo, or simply describe the place.
A picture for the whole team. The group painted together, from several photos brought onto one canvas, for a company anniversary or the end of a project.
The budget, the invoice and the timing
The invoice is made out to the company or the staff committee, with an itemised quote. Giulia replies within 48 hours. A 50 % deposit confirms the order once the sketch is approved, the balance is settled at the end, and shipping is added at cost, from the country of destination.
The timing is short. The sketch comes quickly; then allow about a week between the approved sketch and the picture going out, plus a few days in transit. The exact timing is written into the quote. For Christmas, write three weeks ahead and you will have room.
How it works, and how to keep the surprise
You write to Giulia, send the photos, even old ones or taken on a phone, and tell her the occasion. She sends you two sketches, included, you tell her what you think, and she adjusts. You are the only one who sees the work in progress: the person receiving the picture discovers it on the day.
The picture goes out carefully packed, varnished, ready to hang, and signed if you wish. She can also paint a line or a date on the back. When the date is close, say so in your message: Giulia will tell you straight away what fits.
And if you would rather let the person choose, there is the gift certificate: you give the picture, the person chooses the subject and the size, and it stays valid whenever they want it.

Can the invoice be made out to the company?

Who paints the picture?
Giulia Dal Bon, a painter trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She exhibits her paintings in art galleries and paints commissioned portraits, landscapes and scenes from photographs. Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, Domus and Sky Arte have written about her work. She paints by hand, with a brush, layer after layer, and signs the work if you wish.
Can the company logo or building be painted?
Yes. Head office seen from the street, the workshop, the shop, the company’s first premises: these work very well for a company anniversary or a client gift. Giulia also studied graphic design at the Brera Academy, so the logo can be drawn by hand and worked into the picture.
