Can I see the design before deciding?
Yes. Before any agreement, Giulia shows you the project as an image on your own wall, with the detailed price. Several sketches are proposed to you before the project is confirmed.
What type of mural works well in Caen?
In homes in the centre or venues near the castle, a discreet botanical motif or a simple trompe l'oeil fit well with the city's typical stone walls. Everything is hand-painted with acrylic colours, no wallpaper or printing involved.
Will it damage the wall?
No damage at all. Acrylic paint adheres to an already painted or plastered wall, with no stripping or heavy primer needed. And if you change your mind in ten years, a coat of paint is enough to cover it.

Caen was founded around 1060 under William, Duke of Normandy, who had the ducal castle built there to assert his power over the barons of the Cotentin, shortly before the conquest of England. It became a favourite residence of the dukes of Normandy and kings of England, and the castle grew into one of the largest fortified enclosures in Europe. The same period saw the rise of the Abbaye aux Hommes, a Romanesque masterpiece where William is buried, and the Abbaye aux Dames, founded by his wife Mathilde.
