How much does a gift certificate cost?

It carries the amount you decide. The sizes give you the landmarks: 90 € for a portrait on A4 paper, 180 € for a 30×40 cm canvas, 240 € for 40×50 cm, 320 € for 50×70 cm. One face or a whole family, the size alone sets the price. Larger sizes are quoted on request, sent within 48 hours.

Who paints the gift painting?

Giulia Dal Bon, a painter trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She exhibits her paintings in art galleries, paints by brush, on canvas or on paper, from your photos, and ships the painting anywhere in Europe, carefully packed. Corriere della Sera, Domus and Sky Arte have covered her work.

What does the price include?

The painting, its canvas or paper, and all the work around it: the first two sketches, the corrections while she paints, and the final varnish. Giulia shows how it is coming along and waits for your agreement at each step. Shipping comes on top, at cost, sent from the destination country. A 50 % deposit once the sketch is approved, balance at the end.

Can I choose my own amount?

Yes. You give the figure you have in mind, and the recipient tops it up if they prefer a bigger size or several paintings. It is the option people choose when several of them give together, or when they want to leave the choice entirely open. Giulia writes the amount on the certificate and deducts it from the quote when the order comes.

How does the gift certificate work?

The person sends their photos to Giulia Dal Bon, with the size they have in mind. Giulia offers them a free quote within 48 hours, then two free sketches: they tell her what they think, and Giulia adjusts. Giulia paints, the person follows the progress, and the painting is delivered to their home, carefully packed. A painting to give starts at 90 €.

Does the gift certificate expire?

It stays valid. The recipient contacts Giulia whenever they like, in a month or in two years, taking the time to pick the photo and the wall the painting will hang on. That is what makes this gift a pleasure to receive: they think it over, they choose the size, they talk it through with Giulia. The certificate keeps its value and stays in their name.

What does the recipient actually get?

A document in their name, saying what the certificate covers, who Giulia Dal Bon is and how to reach her, on WhatsApp or by email. You can print it and slip it into a card, or send it straight to them on the day. The document is ready to print, laid out to be given as a gift.

Can it be given on the same day?

Yes, and that is the whole point of a certificate. It arrives by email within 48 hours, so when you are running late it becomes the right answer: the paper is in your hands that evening, while a hand-painted canvas takes its own time. The person opens the gift straight away, and the painting follows a few weeks later, chosen by them.

What can you choose with a gift certificate?

Anything Giulia paints on commission: a portrait from a photo, a family portrait, a pet portrait, a landscape of the place that matters to them, or a painting made from an AI-generated image. On canvas or on paper, brush-painted in acrylic.

Can it be used for live painting or a mural?

Yes. The amount comes off the quote. For live wedding painting, the canvas painted during the reception starts at 950 €. For a wall mural in their home, the rate starts at 150 € per sqm. In both cases Giulia sends a quote within 48 hours, and the certificate applies to it.

What happens next, once they get in touch?

They send their photos on WhatsApp or by email, with the size they have in mind. Giulia replies within 48 hours with a quote, then offers two complimentary sketches: the composition is approved before the first brushstroke. She paints while showing the work in progress, she adjusts them with you, and the painting is packed and sent to the address given.
