What do you give a couple who already have everything?
A painting made for them alone. Giulia Dal Bon brush-paints in acrylic from the photo you choose: the couple leaving the ceremony, the first dance, the reception venue. The object is unique, it carries their date and it lasts. Trained at the Brera Academy, she exhibits her paintings in art galleries and signs the work if the couple would like her to.
Which photo should you choose?
A sharp photo where both faces read clearly, taken on a phone if that is what you have. Daylight gives the true colours of skin and eyes. Send several: Giulia finds the right expression in them, the gesture, the way they hold each other. She can also bring two photos into one composition, the couple on one side and the venue on the other.
Can you give the painting before the wedding?
Yes, and it makes a fine gift for the proposal, the engagement or the hen party. The photo can come from a trip, an engagement shoot or an ordinary moment that looks like them. The painting then waits for them in their new home. To give something on the day itself, the gift certificate goes inside a card, and the couple chooses later.
Can you have the venue painted instead of the couple?
Yes. The chapel, the farmhouse, the villa, the table laid under the trees: the place carries the memory as well as the faces, and it works beautifully as a landscape. Some couples prefer it, because the painting hangs anywhere and keeps well. Send two or three photos of the venue taken in daylight.

What if you want a painting made during the party?
That is live wedding painting: Giulia sets up her easel during the reception and paints the scene in front of the guests. The couple takes the canvas home that same evening. This option starts at 950 €, is booked ahead and keeps its surprise, since the planner is the only one told.
Can you give a painting for a wedding anniversary?
Yes, and the wedding photo becomes the starting point, however old, even in black and white. Painting gives it back its colours and scales it to the size you choose. For ten, twenty-five or fifty years of marriage the commission runs the same way: photos, a quote within 48 hours, two sketches included, corrections covered.

Which size suits a couple?
40 × 50 cm holds two faces close up and sits well on a piece of furniture. 50 × 70 cm gives room to the setting: the dress, the venue, the evening light. 30 × 40 cm suits a tight crop, two heads together. On paper, A4 fits a standard frame on the day you hand it over.
How far ahead should you order before the wedding?
Allow three weeks to be comfortable, covering the quote, the two sketches, the painting and the shipping. Write earlier if the date is already fixed: Giulia arranges her calendar so the painting arrives in time. When the date is coming up fast, the gift certificate arrives by email within 48 hours and can be given that evening.
Can the painting be sent straight to the couple?
Yes. You give their address, Giulia ships the canvas carefully packed, and you receive photos of the finished painting before it leaves. Shipping goes from the destination country and its cost appears in the quote. If you would rather hand the gift over yourself, the painting comes to you, ready to give.
